JOKE OF THE DAY 16 Jan 2008

 Good Golfer

A golfer set up his ball on the first tee, took a mighty swing and hit his ball into a clump of trees.

He found his ball and saw an opening between two trees he thought he could hit through.

Taking out his 3-wood, he took another mighty swing. The ball hit a tree, bounced back, hit him in the forehead and killed him.

As he approached the gates of Heaven, St. Peter saw him coming, 3-wood still in hand, and asked "Are you a good golfer?"

To which the man replied, "Got here in two, didn't I?"

JOKE OF THE DAY 14 Jan 2008

Fly Me to the Moon

On an airplane, I overheard a stewardess talking to an elderly couple in
front of me...

Learning that it was the couple's 50th wedding anniversary, the flight
attendant congratulated them and asked how they had done it.

"It all felt like five minutes," the gentleman said slowly.

The stewardess had just begun to remark on what a sweet statement that was,
when he finished his sentence with two words that earned him a sharp smack
on the head:

"... under water!"
